student progression

Students will learn at different levels depending on age, experience and amount of classes taken.

9-12 years will generally work within the parameters of Level 1, and over time may progress to Level 2.
Teens years will generally progress through Levels 1 and 2 and begin to explore some of the learning in Level 3.
Adults can progress through all three levels.

A compilation of student work will be presented at the end of each Term.

LEVEL 1

The foundations of screen acting

Gain essential skills in screen acting with Level One. Learn crucial techniques, filmmaking skills, and hands-on experience with short scenes. Showcase your talent with edited performances that highlight the impact of post-production on audience connection. Elevate your craft with confidence!

LEVEL 2

Developing character complexity

Level up: Enhance your acting skills by developing character complexity. Learn to navigate complex performances, hit marks flawlessly, analyse scripts effectively, and enhance your relationship with the camera.

LEVEL 3

Multi-dimensional character creation

Embark on an advanced exploration of screen acting that transcends the ordinary. Our classes redefine character development, guiding you to craft multi-dimensional personas that extend far beyond your daily life.

🌟 Advance your on-screen craft as you:

Analyse multiple scenes: dive deep into scenes from the same film or TV series, unraveling the complexities of character evolution within the broader context of an entire screenplay.
Investigate characters distinct from their daily lives.
Experiment with character movement, accents, costumes and makeup.
Bespoke Improvisations: engage in tailor-made improvisations, providing a platform to test your character's behavior in scenarios beyond the screen story, fostering creativity and spontaneity.
On-location filming: select scenes may be captured on location, witnessing your character come to life in realistic mise-en-scène. This immersive approach allows you to see the tangible impact of your character's presence within a genuine setting.
